Beloit College is earning national media attention for adjustments it's making to adapt to the difficult economy.

Spokesman Ron Nief says Time Magazine, the New York Times and USA Today have each included the school in articles about colleges have had to make hard economic decisions. In November, the college announced a drop in enrollment required the elimination of up to 40 positions. Nief says the positions do not necessarily impact student learning.
