RSS

A rash of burglaries are being investigated in a local community.

Milton Police Chief Jerry Schuetz reports five in little more than a week. Three included smash and grab styled burglaries at businesses. Two others were reported at unlocked private residences. Schuetz says many of the burglaries were on consecutive nights over a nine day time span. The Milton Police Department is working with surrounding communities to investigate if other similar incidents have occurred.

Chief Schuetz says a public "Crime Prevention and Community Awareness Forum" is being planned for 6:00 o'clock Thursday night in the City Council chambers.
