Janesville business organization wants Interstate improvements

Forward Janesville's Vice President of Government Relations wants to see state and federal legislators consider improvements to Interstate 39/90.

Dan Cunningham tells WCLO's Stan Milam Show the lack of an improved I-39/90 is hindering Rock County's economic competitiveness. He says anyone who traveled into Wisconsin from Illinois over the holidays, noticed there's a bottleneck along the state border. He says, truth of the matter is, Illinois is miles ahead in improving portions of the interstate.

Cunningham says influencing the legislature to set a timeline for this project ranks high on the business organizations political agenda for 2009.
