-- ANTHONY M. SANDERS, 18, of Waterloo, Iowa, at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, on a charge of second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Intoxicated driving arrests
-- JEFFERY C. FOX, 45, of 2624 N. Lexington Drive, No. 4, Janesville, at 11:19 p.m. Wednesday at Black Bridge Road and Milton Avenue, Janesville. The arrest was listed as a felony because it was his sixth intoxicated-driving arrest.
Reported
-- BURGLARY at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday on Parker Court in Janesville. Police were alerted by an alarm. The burglar damaged a window and door but apparently did not enter or take anything.
-- BURGLARY reported Tuesday in the 1100 block of Hamilton Avenue, Janesville. Taken were numerous tools and other items valued at more than $3,000. Other items included an 8-horsepower boat motor, prescription medications, a number of wheat pennies, about 40 Kennedy half-dollars, two color TVs, three jewelry boxes containing items of unknown value and a large metal safe.
Fire calls
-- STOVE FIRE at 2:49 p.m. Friday at 2136 S. Walnut St., Janesville. Homeowner Brian Levitski awoke to smoke in the house. The fire was limited to the gas stove, which apparently malfunctioned. No one was injured. Damage estimated at about $1,500.
