— A woman charged with stabbing her boyfriend is free after posting a $5,000 cash bond.

Tanya Y. Greer, 28, 1938 Harrison Ave., Beloit, was charged Wednesday in Rock County Court with first-degree reckless injury.

Her boyfriend James A. Holzbauer, 29, was in fair condition this morning at University Hospital in Madison.

Town of Beloit police responded to Greer's home at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday and found Holzbauer at the end of the driveway in large pool of blood. Greer was at his side, putting pressure on the wound to stop it from bleeding, according to the criminal complaint.

A short time later, officers found a bloody knife in the kitchen and a puddle of blood about a foot in diameter in the living room near the entrance to the kitchen, according to the criminal complaint.

Greer told police she hit Holzbauer with her hand. At one point, it looked like Holzbauer was going to grab something and hit her, so she grabbed the knife and struck him, according to the complaint.

"I know I f----- up. That's why I called you guys right away," Greer told police, according to the complaint.

Police also interviewed Greer's 8-year-son who told police he saw his mother punching Holzbauer and that he was "bleeding real bad."

From The Source: It seems like everyone is pointing fingers but that's not helping the situation. What happened was truly a mistake and yes alcohol did play a big part in it for the both of us that night. Please believe me when I say our relationship wasn't all drama and fights. We did family events with our kids, we helped them with there homework TOGETHER and normal family activities. We had problems I do admit to our mistakes. James and I do love each other dearly so please stop with the bogus comments. No one knows what our relationship was really like unless you know us personally. We both are great persons but just need a little prayed for. Were humans not monsters. I understand James family is very upset because if the tables were turned I don't know how I would handle the same situation. He is a great, and loving man. I speak for the both of us when I say before you all write another hurtful comment just know that there's two sides to a story and you all just heard the ugly version.

How wonderful that an 8 year old child witnessed this sickness! Talk about wonderful holiday memories from childhood.

I love it when you call me names

Big woman
And a short short man
And he loves it
When she beats his brains out
He's pecked to death
But he loves the pain
And he loves it
When she calls him names

She's wearing heavy leather with lace
He dresses up in cowboy taste
They punish then they think up a crime
It's their way of loving not mine

I love it when you call me names

These two need to stay apart. (Any guesses on how long this forum will remain open?)
