Brodhead boys top Richland Center
BRODHEAD Brodhead High’s fast start was too much for winless Richland Center in a nonconference boys basketball makeup game Friday afternoon.
Jacob Cole and J.J. Panoske put the Cardinals in early control, and they went on to a 51-39 win that lifted their season record to 3-4.
Cole scored 11 of his 15 points in a 35-24 first half. Panoske, a 6-8 sophomore center, had 12 of his 14 during that stretch.
Colton Wilson scored 16 points, including four three-point goals, for Richland Center (0-6).
