Assembly Speaker to visit Rock County Job Center
State Assembly Speaker Mike Sheridan plans to visit the Rock County Job Center Friday morning to speak with displaced workers.
The Democrat from Janesville says no where in the state has been hit harder than Rock county. Sheridan wants to update residents on an additional three months of unemployment benefits, as well as explain how federal stimulus dollars will help modernize the state's unemployment insurance program.
The event is planned for 10:00 o'clock.
