Oregon High School relied on hot shooting to burn Milton, 67-51, in Badger South boys basketball Friday night.
The Panthers made 21 of 33 field-goal attempts for 64 percent, including 7 of 12 three-point baskets, to control the Red Hawks.
Oregon made all seven of its three-point shots in the first half for a 35-23 lead. The Panthers gained a 26-17 advantage in the fourth quarter, making 16 of 18 free throws.
Mason Walters scored a game-high 21 points for Milton (7-11, 6-5). Jason Hinz scored 18 points, including five three-point baskets to pace Oregon (7-11, 6-6).

Madison Edgewood (8-2) must beat Stoughton tonight and Milton on Monday to tie Monroe for the title.
Mitch Tordoff and Jake Grinnell scored 15 points apiece to lead Monroe past Monona Grove (4-15, 3-9), which trailed 15-2 after the first quarter.
