Some Rock County voters asked to verify status
Voter registration in Wisconsin will be updated thanks in part to a simple post card.
The Government Accountability Board is sending out post cards with a title of "Notice of Suspension". Rock County Clerk Lori Stottler says the postcard indicates the recipient is not on active voter status. Stottler says simply respond to the post card if you intend to remain a registered voter. The move is intended to help maintain accurate voter information, and satisfy federal requirements.
More than 300,000 post cards are being delivered statewide.
