The house at 189 South High St. in Janesville is getting a facelift, thanks to a city program for home rehabilitation.
The city purchased the home in order to renovate it and resell it to a low- or moderate-income family. Neighborhood Development Specialist Kelly Lee says the house isn't in terrible shape, but it's currently divided into two units. City workers tore down a wooden addition late last week in order to make room for a new garage.
