Middle of winter or not, planning has begun for this summer's Janesville Farmer's Market.

Farmer's Market manager Teri Huber tells WCLO's Stan Milam show, she's ready for spring. Huber says a vender meeting is planned for March 7th. This will be the fifth year for the farmers market in the downtown. Huber says the event is a big boost to the local economy, with most of the venders coming from Rock county.

The Janesville Farmers Market opens on Saturday May 9th.
