Movie-goers have a chance to mingle with internationally-known filmmakers and actors at Thursday's launch party for the Beloit International Film Festival.

BIFF Marketing Director John McCally says those at the launch party can meet the man who produced both "Braveheart" and "Passion of the Christ". Stephen McEveety serves as the honorary chair for this year's film festival.

McCally also anticipates Wisconsin native Kevin Farley will be in Beloit to promote his film "An American Carol".

The launch party starts at 5pm at ABC Supply with a $10 admission fee.
