BELOIT — The Beloit police department will be using a house in the Town of Beloit as a training ground for their tactical unit.

Beloit police Captain Bill Tyler says they want to alert the public that between the hours of 8:15 am and 5:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday, they'll be in and around the house in the 2400 block of Riverside Drive. (Highway 51 South)

Tyler says during the training, one of the two south bound lanes of the highway, could be obstructed by police vehicles or equipment. There will be signs in place warning motorists.

The house is scheduled for demolition after the training.
