Special sale of dog and cat licenses in Janesville

WCLO's Steve Benton reports pet owners can get dog and cat licenses until 8p.m. Tuesday

JANESVILLE — The city of Janesville is doing something new on primary election night this year, selling dog and cat licenses.

City Clerk, Jean Wulf, says some employees will be working anyway, so why not. She says the idea came from someone who had a hard time getting to city hall during regular business hours because they worked during the day.

The customer service window at city hall will be open from 7:30 to eight Tuesday night.
