Even the simplest of exercises can benefit the heart according to the Director of Cardiology at Mercy Health System in Janesville.

Stephanie Kittleson tells WCLO's Stan Milam Show walking is the best mode. Kittleson says whatever you feel comfortable doing is good. She says even patients recovering from a heart attack can take on some exercise.

She says exercise can also help improve problems with weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, and stress. February is American Heart Month.
