— UW-Rock County played out of the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference women’s basketball tournament play-in game here Wednesday.

UW-Fond du Lac routed UW-Rock, 67-34, rolling to a 41-16 first-half lead.

UW-Rock had its lowest point total of the season.

“Fond du Lac was focused and motivated,” Rattlers coach Scott Lee said. “We beat them early in the season, and maybe we thought we could get past them.’’

Fond du Lac made 27 of 30 free throw, including 16 of 16 in the first half.

Tiffany Draeving scored 11 points for UW-Rock, while Karen Engle scored 17 points to lead four Fond du Lac players in double figures.

UW-Rock can redeem itself next Monday in a Wisconsin Junior College Athletic Association tournament game at UW-Marathon.
