-- CHRISTOPHER R. ANTON, 31, of 33 Northside Drive, Apt. L1, Milton, on a charge of manufacturing/delivering LSD at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday at Highway 26 and Arthur Drive, Janesville.


-- MICHAEL G. KLEINSCHMIDT, 30, of 620 Lincoln St., No. 3, Janesville, on a charge of second-degree recklessly endangering safety at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday at 258 S. Jackson St., Janesville. He also was arrested on a probation hold.


-- DONALD L. WACHSMUTH, 54, of 2701 Affirmed Drive, Janesville, on a charge of physical abuse of a child at 2 p.m. Feb. 5, at his home.


-- A 22-YEAR-OLD MAN, no fixed address, on a charge of second-degree sexual assault of a child at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Janesville Police Department, 100 N. Jackson St., Janesville. He is accused of having sexual contact with a teen girl he knows.


-- DAVID L. SCHULTZ, 50, Beaver Dam, at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, 200 E. Highway 14, Janesville, on a bench warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court on a previous charge of sixth-offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- SCOTT K. BALAS, 47, of 1515 Bennett St., Janesville, at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday at Court Street and Parker Drive. It was reported as his fifth arrest on a drunken-driving charge.


-- MICHAEL J. CONSALVO, 41, of 2725 Schaller St., Janesville, at 12:16 a.m. Wednesday at Palmer Drive and Racine Street, Janesville.


Reported

-- THEFT of $1,700 cash from Quotes Bar & Grill, 24 N. Main St., Janesville, reported Wednesday.


-- BURGLARY to a residence in the 2000 block of Conway Drive, Janesville, reported Wednesday. About a dozen guns, three rings and a coin collection were reported stolen.


Fire

-- OVEN FIRE at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday at 1211 Sylvester St., No. 3, Janesville, after an occupant of the apartment had turned on the oven to heat the apartment. The cause of the fire remains undetermined. Damage was estimated at $7,000. Nobody was injured.


Walworth County
Charged

-- ELAINE S. BAIN, 41, of 255 N. Main St., Walworth, sixth-offense drunken driving after a traffic stop Sunday in Delavan Township.


-- JOSHUA A. KHAN, 31, of 625 Ann St., Delavan, felony fleeing an officer after he failed to stop at a stop sign, led police on a chase of less than a mile and then tried to flee on foot Feb. 5 in Delavan.


-- JOSEPH D. LYNCH, 29, of 325 S. Washington St., Janesville, operating a vehicle without owner consent, carrying a concealed weapon and misdemeanor bail jumping after police found the keys to someone else’s vehicle in his pocket and a 16-inch expandable baton in the vehicle, which was parked at Walworth County Department of Health and Human Services on Jan. 23, while he was out on bond.


-- JASON W. PASHOLK, 25, Wausau, attempted second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and misdemeanor battery. He is accused of rubbing and grabbing a girl Feb. 1 at an apartment in Whitewater.


-- SAMANTHA M. THOMAS, 17, Pewaukee, two counts of felony bail jumping and one count of obstructing an officer after she gave police a false name at an underage drinking party to which police responded in Delavan on Jan. 17, while she was out on bond.
