What a difference a year makes.

It was one year ago Friday that Barack Obama made a campaign stop in Janesville reassuring General Motors workers the Janesville Assembly Plant could survive GM's tough times.

The majority of Obama's audience then was GM workers, a demographic that's now scarce in Rock County. Thursday, Obama stopped in Peoria, IL, at a Caterpillar plant touting his economic stimulus bill. According to CNN, Caterpillar's CEO, who serves on Obama's Economic Recovery Board, says he would be able to reverse recent massive layoffs if the stimulus package is approved. The House is expected to vote on the $789 billion plan Friday.

All you GM people (former GM people) that thought Hussein Obama was so great...are you reconsidering? Ever since he came to Janesville, things here have gone from scary to a complete nightmare we cant wake up from.

He was supposed to be your savior but since his visit: GM Janesville went from eliminating one shift to all shifts, closing the plant from 3yrs to 10 months, and giving you 3 years of welfare to a max of 11 months.

Nowhere to be found? Do you read the news? He can't undo what was already destroyed before he even took office, but, with the help a president deserves from his partners (us for example, if you didn't know) he can start turning things around. (Give him a few more minutes to at least try before you claim failure.) He has only been in office for less than a month-and contrary to the claims of some of those who want him to fail-he never said he could walk on water-or that he could solve everything that was left for him in a matter of weeks.

Lies Lies and more Lies, anything to get elected. I wonder how many of those ex-GM workers that voted for Obama are now wondering WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO THOSE PROMISES????? All those politicians that promised them that hey had their best interests, and had their backs before they were voted in, now are nowhere to be found when they are needed most!
