This is so sad and upsetting. The little church was a landmark. I spent many days of my childhood out on Nelson road. The church was the first thing we saw going out there. It was the one room school house where my mom went to school until 8th grade. We have pictures showing what it use to look like many years ago. Her grandchildren have seen the pictures and know the history of the little church, It is a story that has been passed down with pride.
It is a piece of our history that will be missed.
