Elkhorn rolls to victory

Elkhorn High’s state-rated boys basketball team went to work early Friday night and never let up.

The Elks, No. 9 in the AP Division 1 poll, jumped off to an 18-6 lead in the first quarter at Union Grove and pushed their Southern Lakes Conference record to 8-0 with a 55-43 victory.

The Elks led 28-20 at halftime, then sealed the deal with a 15-9 advantage in the third quarter.

Skyler O’Laughlin scored 15 points to lead Elkhorn, which is 14-1 overall. Eric Bryson added 14 for the Elks, and teammate Max Findreng scored 11

Nathan Radke led Union Grove with 12.

Lake Geneva Badger 65, Wilmot 45—Lake Geneva hit 9 three-point goals on its way to a Southern Lakes victory Friday night.

Braden Tice scored 11 of his game-high 19 points for Lake Geneva (4-4) in the first quarter. Paul Dailey added 11 for Badger. Justin Dewing scored 12 points for Wilmot (2-4)
