With the way the Gazette Prediction Machine is rolling, this must be a very predictable high school boys basketball season.

It’s so predictable, in fact, that the GPM had a 58-51 pick on Elkhorn’s 59-51 victory over Waterford in a Southern Lakes Conference game last Friday night.

Overall, it was a 31-7 weekend for the GPM. That jacked the season record to 177-47 for a lofty 79 percent.

But before getting carried away with those numbers, it’s back to business with these numbers for tonight boys games:

East Troy over Orfordville Parkview, 62-52; Edgerton over Clinton, 64-46; Evansville over Beloit Turner, 54-48; Jefferson over Brodhead, 59-56; Whitewater over Walworth Big Foot, 59-52; McFarland over Palmyra-Eagle, 72-44; Cambridge over Wisconsin Heights, 58-56; Waterloo over Williams Bay, 50-47; Verona over Sun Prairie, 68-56.

Delavan-Darien over Wilmot, 51-45; Waterford over Union Grove, 56-54; Elkhorn over Lake Geneva Badger, 63-56; Monroe over Oregon, 55-40; Stoughton over Fort Atkinson, 50-35; Madison Edgewood over Milton, 56-48; Baraboo over Portage, 63-56; Waunakee over Sauk Prairie, 61-50; DeForest over Mount Horeb, 54-39; Reedsburg over Monona Grove, 47-43.
