Panoske powers Brodhead
J.J. Panoske was at it again Monday night.
Brodhead High’s 6-9 junior scored 31 points, giving him his third straight 30-plus game, as the host Cardinals (4-2) notched a 62-52 victory over Monticello in nonconference boys basketball.
Panoske had a 14-point fourth quarter, enabling the Cardinals to secure the win with a 23-19 advantage over the last eight minutes.
Jacob Cole backed up Panoske with 10 points for Brodhead, while Jacob Marty and Luke Kolasch led Monticello with 15 points apiece. Tyler Ritschard added 13 for the Ponies.

The Chiefs built a 39-24 lead in the first three quarters as they boosted their season record to 4-3.
Nathan Nagel contributed 10 points to the victory, while Jack Slovick paced Williams Bay 14. Matt Dreger and Will Gersonm addedd 13 and 11 points, respectively, for the Bulldogs.

Aquiallo Moore hit two late three-point shots for the Knights, including one that broke a 60-60 tie. Michael Miller got his last of 29 points to put Madison out of reach at 65-60.
A.J. Neils scored a career-high 24 points for Jefferson, and Tyler Tomczak added 15.
