Orfordville Parkview High School’s girls basketball team used a strong start Friday night to keep its perfect record intact.
The Vikings built a 26-13 lead in the first half and went on to a 56-41 victory over visiting Walworth Big Foot that boosted them to 4-0 in the Rock Valley South and 5-0 overall.
Parkview held Southern Illinois University recruit Jordyn Courier to four points—a free throw and a three-point basket in the fourth quarter.
Stephanie Aasen led the Vikings with 16 points, while teammate Breanna Ryan added 11.
Parkview sank 25 of 41 free throws, while Big Foot went 13 for 21 from the line as the teams combined for 41 fouls.
Haley Schwartz and Courtney Spangler scored 11 points apiece for Big Foot (1-2, 1-2).
