Arrests
- A 16-YEAR-OLD BELOIT GIRL, at 1:16 p.m. Friday near Court Street and Atwood Avenue, Janesville, referred to juvenile authorities on charges of resisting, battery to an officer and criminal damage to property. Police report she clawed and scratched an officer and caused $200 damage to a squad car’s doorframe. Officers were taking her into custody on a runaway complaint. She was taken to the county juvenile detention center.
Intoxicated driving arrests
- DARYL L. REIDLE, 32, of 2305 Holiday Drive, No. 8, Janesville, at 2:16 a.m. Friday at Parker and Memorial drives, Janesville.
- LUKE E. TAAFFE, 22, of 2120 S. Crosby Ave., Janesville, at 2 a.m. Friday in the 2500 block of West Court Street, Janesville. It was reportedly his fourth offense.
Accidents
- TARRANT ROAD AND COUNTY A, Fulton Township, at 3:02 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, a car driven by Paul L. Deily, 52, of 4523 Silverwood Drive, Delavan, collided with a pickup truck driven by Terry A. Cabot, 49, of 3519 Colby Lane, Janesville. Deily was ticketed for failure to yield right of way and not wearing a seat belt. Deily also was treated and released from Mercy Hospital, Janesville.

- GREGORY A. GRAESSLIN, 25, of 1309 S. Terrace St., Janesville, misdemeanor domestic battery, nine months in jail with Huber privileges with credit, $187. Charge of felony false imprisonment dismissed but read into court record.

- SCOTT R. BECKWITH, 26, of 417 W. Beloit St., Orfordville, formerly of Janesville, felony party to armed burglary with a dangerous weapon, two years in prison with credit, five years extended supervision, $122. Charges of felony felon possession of firearm and felony first-degree recklessly endangering safety both dismissed but read into court record.
- ALEXANDER M. BROCKMANN, 21, of 2940 Carrousel Lane, No. 5, Janesville, charge of felony second-degree sexual assault of a child amended to misdemeanor fourth-degree sexual assault, two years probation with credit, $330.
- RICHARD K. BENNETT, 25, of 4110 Bordeaux Drive, Janesville, felony homicide by intoxicated use of vehicle, 18 months in prison with credit, six years extended supervision, 100 hours community service, $105. Charge of felony homicide by use of a vehicle with prohibited blood-alcohol concentration dismissed but read into court record.
