Jets skate past Traverse City
The Janesville Jets shook off the rust from an extra week off to stop Traverse City, 2-1, in North American Hockey League action before 667 fans at the Janesville Ice Skating Center on Friday.
After last Friday and Saturday’s games against Motor City were postponed due to inclement weather, the third-place Jets improved to 15-10-2 and Traverse City fell to 16-11-2.
Jackson Bray scored an unassisted goal at 17:22 to put Janesville ahead, 1-0. Pat Dalbec scored on assists from Larkin and Derek Jacobson at 5:26 of the second period to put Janesville ahead, 2-0.
