Rock County Fury earns OT tie behind Grall
The Rock County Fury put together one its best performances of the season Thursday night.
Leigh Grall made 34 saves, and the Fury tied the game late on Chelsea Pomeroy's goal in a 3-3 overtime tie with the state-ranked Capitol City Cougars.
"They might be the best team in the state, and we skated pretty evenly with them," Fury coach Darrel Moore said of the Cougars.
"We're starting to learn that we need to come out and use our speed, and that if we do, we can play with the good teams."
Jackie Benish and Maci Wiser also scored for the Fury (4-3-2), who play at Kettle Moraine on Saturday.
