Songs for the holidays could help a local charity.

Craig High School Senior Claire Olson is a singer, and a giver. She, along with senior J.P. Merz, got together with a group of fellow students to make a Christmas album to benefit the GIFTS men's homeless shelter. Claire got the idea while performing at a shelter. Merz helped put together an album in his basement, where his father has recording equipment. The $10 CD's can be found at Mocha Moments, Studio 107, and St. John Vianney's parish office.

All the proceeds go to the shelter.
