Nonconference basketball action
Skyler O’Laughlin’s put-back with three seconds remaining gave the Elks a thrilling 37-36 victory in nonconference boys basketball.
Fort held a 20-16 lead at halftime, but the Elks gained a 12-8 edge in the third quarter to tie it 28-28 heading into the last frame.
O’Laughlin finished with 15 points and was the only player to score in double figures.

Cody Dillon hit three three-point field goals and led the Demons with 13 points. Teammate Nate Brandt scored 10. Dustin Milz led Westosha with 13 points.

Hot-shooting Potosi handed the Albany Comets girls basketball team its first loss of the season Tuesday night.
Albany trailed by 11 at half and could not recover in a 57-41 loss.
Hayli Peach led Albany
(5-1) with 15 points, while Potosi’s Katie Reynolds led all scorers with 18.
