Rattlers earn victory

— UW-Rock County fought off UW-Sheboygan’s hard charge in the second half to post a 77-62 victory and break a three-game losing streak in Wisconsin Collegiate Conference men’s basketball.

The Rattlers (6-6, 4-3) held a 17-2 lead in the first half, but Sheboygan came back to take a three-point lead with 10 minutes remaining in the second half.

Corey Kramer, who scored two points in the first half, scored 15 points in the second stanza to boost UW-Rock. Fred Stewart added 17 points and Steve Evert scored 15 points, including three three-point baskets.
