Parker, Craig wrestlers roll

The Janesville Parker and Janesville Craig wrestling teams won easily Thursday night in Big Eight Conference dual meet matches.

The Cougars steamrolled Madison La Follette, 63-15, while the Vikings blitzed Madison West, 52-21.

Junior Siven Furseth improved to 7-0 and won his 93rd career match to lead the Cougars (2-1) to victory.

Chris Pierce and Mike Spaulding both improved to 6-1 for the Cougars, while Dakota Pearson picked up his first win of the season at 285.

Parker (2-0) got pins from Evan Cavey, Travis Rucinski, Josh Lindaas, Nick Ackerman and Cody Colson in flattening West.
