Visitation set for East Troy teens
EAST TROY Family and friends this week will gather to remember three East Troy High School seniors killed in a car crash.
Shanna L. Kuznicki, Lauryn K. Mustain and Steven J. Wosinski died last week after the driver of the car they were in lost control and hit another vehicle. They were 17.
Visitation for Kuznicki will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Church, 1981 Beulah Ave., East Troy. The service will start at 2 p.m. at the church.
Lauryn Mustain’s visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Troy Bible Church, 2660 North St., East Troy. The service will start at 6 p.m. at the church.
Steven Wosinski’s funeral and visitation are set for Friday at Legacy Funeral Service, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation starts at 3 p.m. with the service set to start at 7 p.m.
The three were passengers in a Toyota Corolla driven by Andrew A. Bohmann, 17, who remains hospitalized. His condition was not available.
The wreck happened about 5:15 p.m. Thursday on County ES near County J in East Troy Township.
Michael Smith, a crash reconstruction specialist with the Wisconsin State Patrol, said the four seniors in the Corolla were traveling north on County ES when the vehicle slid sideways and struck the front of an oncoming BMW.
The driver of the BMW, Cori M. Waki, 16, and passenger Rebecca M. Schicantek, 16, are juniors at the high school.
Alls six students knew each other and were in clubs together at school.
Friends set up a group to share information about the students on the social networking Web site Facebook. The group, which had more than 1,600 members as of Monday night, can be found by typing “Steven&Lauryn&Shanna” on Facebook's main search box.
