Many corn farmers in Rock County aren't enjoying the season's first big snow storm.
UW-Extension Crops and Soils Agent Jim Stute says about one-quarter of the crop is still in the field. He says with deep snow and unfrozen ground, it'll be virtually impossible to harvest.
This could open some farmers to a huge loss, because this was one of the most expensive crops ever to put in the field.
