JANESVILLE Incumbent Peter D. Severson has taken out papers to run for Janesville School Board next April.
Severson, of 1817 Wesley Ave., works in information technology for the state court system. He has served on the board since he was appointed in 2008. He was elected to a one-year term last April.
This brings to three the number of candidates who are circulating nomination papers. The others are Karl Dommershausen and incumbent Diedre Richard.
To be included on the ballot, a candidate must gather 100 to 200 signatures and file nomination papers by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5.
For more information, call Nancy Hewes, assistant board clerk, at (608) 743-5056.

Pete is a good guy, and he is very dedicated to his responsibilities on the school board. We need more people like him.
Ok, his only questionable faults would be he is a Twins and Vikings fan, but, hey, no one is perfect. I'll still vote for him.
