Clinton woman died 13 days after accident
CLINTON A Clinton woman died Monday from injuries sustained in a car accident nearly two weeks earlier.
Helen E. Wildermuth, 90, of 10003 S. Clinton Corners Road was in a wreck at 1:24 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Highway 67 and Clinton Corners Road in Clinton, according to a Rock County Sheriff’s Office accident report.
Wildermuth is suspected of pulling out from a stop sign and striking an SUV driven by Alonso Vasquez, 26, of 7926 E. Highway 67, Clinton, according to the report.
Wildermuth was taken to University Hospital in Madison after the wreck. She was ticketed for failure to yield from a stop sign, according to the report.
She died Monday in University Hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
