"Use of Force" training hosted by J.P.D. and B.T.C.

WCLO's Steve Benton reports on a special "use of force" training session for area police officers

— The Janesville police department and Blackhawk Technical College are co-hosting a special training session Tuesday.

The advanced training is titled "Investigating Use of Force for Field Supervisors." Janesville police Sgt. Brian Donohoue says the presenter is retired Shreveport, Louisiana police chief, Charles Gruber.

Around 30 officers from five area police departments are signed up to take part. The training will be held at the Holiday Inn Express.
