Elkhorn High couldn’t dent the Sheboygan Falls defense in a nonconference football opener Friday night.


The visiting Falcons scored on a fourth-and-goal pass play from the Elks’ 9-yard-line in the second quarter and held for a 6-0 nonconference victory.


The Elks drove to the Falcons’ 5-yard-line in the fourth quarter but failed to score.


Tyler French gained 122 yards on 23 carries for Elkhorn.

n Bradford 49, Burlington 14—Kenosha Bradford rallied from an early 7-0 deficit with 42 straight points, including three scoring runs of at least 58 yards, Friday night to blow out host Burlington in a nonconference opener.


Torri Tyson and Melvin Gordon ran for 117 and 106 yards, respectively, to lead Bradford’s 410-yard ground game. Jake Kolczaski led Burlington with 23 carries for 89 yards.
