Kane County cruises past Beloit Snappers

GENEVA, ILL. — The Beloit Snappers continued their lackluster play in a 7-0 loss to the Kane County Cougars in Midwest League baseball here Wednesday.

Three Kane County pitchers blanked Beloit on three hits, while three Snappers pitchers were pounded for 16 hits.

Beloit starter Dan Osterbrook (6-10) allowed six runs—five earned—on 11 hits in 4 1-3 innings to take the loss. The Snappers committed three errors, making it six errors in two games.
