This is a moment for you all too take a step back and appreciate and be thankful for what you have in life. This family lost their home, belongings, and a wonderful pet despite all the fireman's heroic efforts. My heart goes out to this family.

I said a stupid accident with a kid, not a stupid kid. Do you know how to read? And yes, I know very well about all post on the Gazette stories, I read them everyday and most do not stay on the topic.

If you actually think everyone stays on topic on every story you are sadly mistaken!
So a "stupid kid" having an accident is less important to a kid playing with a lighter....

The excitement with the fire trucks, etc. on Milton Ave, was a oven fire of some sort. Was put out real quick. No damage done, no one was hurt. Got this info in real time as I knew who lived there. Wonder about a lot of the stuff you see happen here in Janesville, but is not reported in the paper.

Does any one care about the people who were displaced? Sorry, but this is about them not an accident with cars but a stupid accident with a kid!! I hope they can get help with clothing and personal stuff and a place to stay. God Bless them.

My daughter drove past the accident, too. She said it was a 3-car pile-up. An SUV rear ended a smaller silver car, and another car "love-tapped" the rear end of the SUV (because it had been able to slow down). She thought a younger girl was driving the silver car and an older couple in the SUV, but she didn't see the last car's occupants. She said a fire truck, ambulance, and 2 squad cars were there. I hope nobody was hurt too badly.
