MILTON — Milton police are increasing efforts to end vandalism in city parks.

Police chief Jerry Schuetz says he thinks a bike patrol helped stop the vandalism from occurring during daylight hours, but not at night.

Schuetz is asking citizens to report any suspicious activities at night to the non-emergency Rock County dispatch number, 757-2244 or to Milton Crime Stoppers, 756-3636.

The incidents have included damage to buildings, picnic tables and other city property. Schuetz reminds residents that repairs to damaged city property are made using tax dollars.
