Janesville Parker Vikings sweep opening tennis match
Janesville Parker High School opened the Big Eight Conference girls tennis season with a 7-0 victory over visiting Beloit Memorial on Tuesday.
“We came out and we handled what we had to do,” Parker coach Justin Long said. “We had a very well-played conference match.’’
The Vikings host Madison East at 4:15 p.m. Thursday.
Janesville Craig’s Big Eight opener at Sun Prairie was postponed due to rain. The match will be played next Wednesday at Sun Prairie.
