Local legislators will be gathering in Janesville next month to talk about campaign finance reform.

Jay Heck from Common Cause tells WCLO's Stan Milam show representative Mike Sheridan of Janesville is among the leaders. Heck says the problem is money rules elections in Wisconsin. Sheridan will be joined by State Senator Judy Robson of Beloit, and others for the public discussion. The goal of current legislation is to allow full disclosure of who's financing campaigns.

The event is set for September 21st at the Janesville School District Education Services Center.
