More electrical service may help Milton attract more industry.
City Administrator Todd Schmidt says Rock Energy Cooperative is exploring the option for a new substation to serve the community's Crossroads Business Park. Schmidt says close to 30-businesses are already in the park, and more energy would make it attractive to new industry.
Rock Energy Cooperative plans a public hearing on the project from 4:00 until 7:00 Wednesday night in the lower level meeting room of the Gathering Place.
