Arrests

-- NIKIA M. VOGELS, 21, of 363 Swan Lane, Janesville, at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Janesville Police Department on a charge of identity theft and retail theft. She also was arrested on two Rock County warrants.


-- JUSTIN J. VANACKER, 30, of 7527 W. Mineral Point Road, Janesville, at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of fraudulent use of a credit card.


-- RICARDO MORENO JR., 26, of 1121 Beloit Ave., Janesville, at 2:59 a.m. Tuesday at the Rock County Sheriff’s Office on bench warrants charging him with failing to appear in court on previous charges of third-offense drunken-driving and resisting arrest. He also was arrested on a Dane County warrant.


-- DAVID W. DEWEY, 21, of 315 Milton Ave., Janesville, at 11 p.m. Monday at home on charges of party to substantial battery, battery, disorderly conduct and failing to comply with an arresting officer.


-- JOSE A. GENIS, 19, of 1045½ Sixth St., Beloit, at 3:09 a.m. July 28 at 1133 Inman Parkway in Beloit Township. Genis was charged with causing injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle after a crash involving a Rock County Sheriff’s Office deputy at 2:04 a.m. at Townline Road and Prairie Avenue. No injuries were sustained in the accident.


-- TAYLOR A. STERLING, 20, of 2971 High Crest Road, Beloit, at 11:45 a.m. Aug. 4 at home on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of paraphernalia and parole violation. Police confiscated $350 and 524 grams of marijuana.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- MITCH R. DOYLE, 32, of 2701 S. Highway 213, Orfordville, at 2:03 a.m. Sunday at Knute’s Bar & Grill, 206 E. Beloit St., Center Township. It was reported as his fourth arrest on a drunken-driving charge. He also was cited for hit and run to an unattended vehicle.


-- MARK I. HOLZHUETER, 42, Stoughton, at 3:22 a.m. Monday on County M west of Riley Road, Porter Township. It was reported as his third arrest on a drunken-driving charge. He also was cited for non-registration and operating without a valid driver’s license.


-- RYAN P. LAMBERT, 20, of1513 Roosevelt Ave., Janesville, at 2:10 a.m. Sunday at Clear Lake and Madison avenues, Milton. It was reported as Lambert’s second intoxicated-driving arrest. He also was cited for speeding.

-- BURGLARY on Aug. 6 to a home in the 2200 block of East Hart Road in Turtle Township. Reported stolen were $5 and prescription medications.


-- BURGLARY at 2:20 p.m. Aug. 3 to a home on Auburn Avenue in Beloit Township.


-- BURGLARY to Hanson’s Bar and Grill, 615 Cranston Road in Beloit Township at 5:10 a.m. July 17. Cash boxes in gaming machines were damaged and cash was reported stolen.

Intoxicated driving arrests

-- RAFAEL E. CAGSANON-BALAM, 24, Tigard, Ore., at 12:20 a.m. Aug. 2, on Beloit Street, Walworth.


-- ISIDRO SALINAS, 17, of 713 Marshall St., Lake Geneva, at 3:56 p.m. Aug. 6, on Sage Street at Spring Street, Lake Geneva. He also was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, operating without a valid license, failure to stop at a stop sign, hit and run to an unattended vehicle and displaying unauthorized registration.


-- JEFFERY A. HARTLIEB, 31, of 113 S. Fifth St., No. 1, Delavan, at 2:18 a.m. Aug. 6, on Townline Road at Veterans Parkway, Lake Geneva. He also was cited for operating after revocation.


-- KRISTINA M. KARR, 18, Park Ridge, Ill., at 10:53 p.m. Aug. 5, in the 100 block of Center Street, Lake Geneva. She also was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.


Accidents

-- 200 BLOCK OF EDWARDS BLVD., LAKE GENEVA A van driven by Hooi Kiong Lim, 47, of 250 S. Edwards Blvd., No. 107, Lake Geneva, struck Shane S. Bieze, 10, of 400 S. Edwards Blvd., No. 183, Lake Geneva, who was riding his bike across the street at 11:40 a.m. Aug. 4. Bieze was reportedly transported to a local hospital, but his condition was unknown.


-- MAIN STREET WEST OF TRATT STREET, WHITEWATER An Area Rental & Sales van hauling a trailer driven by Gregory P. Vohs, 24, Milwaukee, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Elizabeth M. Asher, 57, of 250-8 Indian Mound Parkway, Whitewater, at 1:23 p.m. Aug. 1. A passenger in her vehicle, Robert H. Wright, 89, was reportedly transported to a local hospital, but his condition was unknown. Vohs was cited for having inadequate brakes.
