Greater Beloit Area Chamber of Commerce Interim Executive Director, Amy Loudenbeck, will keep her "Interim" title for while. G-B-A-C Board President, Jeff Adams, says discussions concerning a merger of the Beloit, Rockton, and Roscoe Chambers of Commerce are taking place. He says it wouldn't be fair to Loudenbeck to hire her full time in Beloit, only to have her go through the same process again if the three chambers merge. Loudenbeck was given the temporary position in May when Nancy Forbeck retired. A decision regarding the merger isn't expected until sometime this fall. Adams says Loudenbeck is doing a great job and expects her to apply for the top job of a combined chamber, if that decision is reached.
