Tournament highlight: The third-place finish was good considering the wind and choppy water conditions, club president Joel Shapiro said.
The Rock Aqua Jays got off to a difficult start when they couldn't complete their five-high pyramid, but the team bounced back, he said.
"From a personal standpoint, I'm really proud of the team," Shapiro said. "Nobody gave up. Nobody threw in the towel."
The weather conditions worked against the Jays, but the team isn't making any excuses, he said.
"We probably beat ourselves," Shapiro said. "But am I disappointed? No. Who could be disappointed about finishing third out of 14 teams in the country?"
Quote of the day: "It's not about winning and losing," said Shapiro, who complimented his team's positive attitude and perseverance after a rough start in the competition.
