-- ROBBERY reported at 8:31 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Highland Avenue, Janesville. A man and woman told police two men had entered their home a week earlier taken $200.


-- FIRE reported at 1:47 p.m. Wednesday to the garage of a home in the 500 block of East Centerway Avenue, Janesville. The fire was ruled an accident and had been put out by the homeowner when firefighters arrived. Damage was estimated at $2,000.


Arrests

-- SHANNON L. NIMZ, 33, of 1434 Liberty Lane, Janesville, at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday at her home on a charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.


-- SHANE M. GARTHWAITE, 34, of 105 W. State St., Janesville, at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Rock County Jail on a charge of escape. Garthwaite is accused of failing to report to the Workenders program.


-- SHUWON E. MOORE, 42, of 4218 Skyview Drive, Janesville, at 9:30 p.m. Sunday at his home on charges of domestic substantial battery and domestic strangulation. He is accused of punching and choking a woman.


-- ZACHARY L. LUEPNITE, 20, of 1026 Carrington St., Janesville at 9:50 p.m. Monday at Main and Carrington streets, Janesville, on a charge of substantial battery. The charges are related to an incident earlier in the evening the 600 block of South Garfield Avenue, Janesville. Luepnite was treated at Mercy Hospital. His condition was not available. The 31-year-old victim was treated and released from Mercy Hospital.


-- NATHAN A. MCCUMBER, 31, of 1114 Milton Ave., Janesville, at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Zion Avenue and Rugby Road, Janesville, on a charge of forgery.


Accidents

-- MILWAUKEE STREET AND WRIGHT ROAD, Janesville, at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday, a car driven by Lindsay K. McCarthy, 26, of 1007 N. Wright Road, No. 6, Janesville, collided in the intersection with a sport utility vehicle driven by Marlene A. Schurhammer, 55, of 4938 Sumpter Drive, Milton. Schurhammer was treated at Mercy Hospital, Janesville, and released.


-- HIGHWAY 213 AND ORFORDVILLE-HANOVER ROAD, Plymouth Township, at 6:23 p.m. Friday, July 24, a car driven by Christine A. Hart, Beloit, rolled off the road. Hart was treated at Beloit Memorial Hospital and released. Her passenger, Autumn R. Holmstrom, 10, McHenry, Ill., also was treated at Beloit Memorial Hospital and released.


-- HIGHWAYS 11 AND 104, Spring Valley Township, at 1:28 p.m. Thursday, a car driven by Daniel W. Wojtanowski, 25, Slinger, collided with a car driven by Stephen C. Rohde, 64, Belleville. Wojtanowski was ticketed for inattentive driving. Rohde's passenger, Marguerite A. Cardinal-Rohde, 65, Belleville, was transported to a local hospital, but her condition was unknown Monday.


-- TOWNLINE ROAD AND SOUTH COUNTY J, Turtle Township at 1:35 p.m. Sunday. A moped drive by Michael J. Vandervort, 58, of 1904 Cottage Ave., Beloit, was eastbound on Townline Road when he went on to the shoulder and lost control of his moped. He was treated and released from Beloit Memorial Hospital.


-- HIGHWAY 14 AND SERL ROAD, Bradford Township at 2:34 p.m. Saturday. A motorcycle driven by Arlyn R. Halvorson, 51, of McFarland, was westbound on Highway 14 when he went on to the shoulder to avoid a vehicle in front of him that was stopped to make a turn. He was reported transported for medical attention.


-- INTERSTATE 90/39 on eastbound exit ramp 171C, between Highway 26 and Kennedy Road, Janesville, at 7:52 p.m. Sunday. Kevin Kerl, 48, of 4245 Allendale Drive, Janesville, lost control of his motorcycle and went over the embankment. He was transported to Mercy Hospital, where he was listed in good condition Monday morning.
