Evansville to share in stimulus funds
Evansville is receiving about $4 million in federal stimulus money for water infrastructure projects.
The money is matched by the state's Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund, totalling about $8.1 million for upgrades to the wastewater treatment plant, sanitary sewers and lift station. The Walworth County communities of Sharon, Walworth, Whitewater and Fontana are also sharing in the $103 million in federal stimulus funds distributed throughout the state.
