The Beloit School District is regrouping after complaints about its daycare program.

The Riverfront Childcare Learning Lab is being discontinued. Executive Director of Academic Programs, Steve McNeal, says the district benefits from outsourcing the program for children of school-age moms. McNeal says he is discussing partnerships with local businesses this week. McNeal doesn't want to dwell on the details of the complaints.

An investigation by the State Department of Children and Families found complaints of abuse and neglect, inappropriate discipline, and a lack of staff qualifications, were all substantiated.
