WCLO's Stan Stricker reports on the success of the "Big Read"

The "Big Read" held at several Rock county libraries in April is considered a "big" success.

Arrowhead Library Director Martha Gammons says Milton's example included an effort by dozens of residents to read "To Kill a Mockingbird" this month. The Milton library wrapped up its celebration Thursday night. Evansville's library finishes up May 7th.

The "Big Read" was an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts designed to restore reading to the center of American culture.
