— Two Lake Geneva residents were arrested Thursday evening for possession of heroin.

Amber L. Drummond, 24, and Jeremy L. Nunn, 32, were taken to the Walworth County Law Enforcement Center jail after Lake Geneva police executed a search warrant of their resident on the 200 block of Warren Street.

Officers recovered 70 bindles containing approximately 7 grams of heroin and about $940 cash, according to Detective Ed Gritzner of the Lake Geneva Police Department.

A 36-year-old man, who Drummond confirmed to be a previous buyer, also was arrested after approaching the house when the warrant was being executed around 7:19 p.m. He was later released while officers investigate the case.

Drummond and Nunn are scheduled for an initial court appearance at 1 p.m. today at Walworth County’s Judicial Center.
